COM Help Center

The Lamb School’s COM Help Center is here to help students who are preparing for classroom presentations in COM classes. Our experienced Help Center Attendants can help students at any stage of the presentation process, including:
  • exploring and identifying potential topics,
  • building a research plan and integrating APA citations for sources,
  • organizing, outlining and creating logical structures for presentation content,
  • creating informative visual aids to support ideas,
  • developing strategies for effective delivery

For students who are struggling with grammar in preparing for a presentation, we recommend visiting the Writing Lab

Students can schedule 30-minute appointments online here. Individual students may schedule two, 30-minute appointments per week. Walk-in visits are available on a first-come-first-served basis during our scheduled walk-in hours. To be seen as a walk-in visitor, a student must check-in 15 minutes prior to the end of walk-in hours. Since we cannot guarantee availability during walk-in hours, we encourage all students to make appointments when possible.

You can find the COM Help Center in room 2135 of Beering Hall – just follow the signs in the main Lamb School office in room 2114.
