This mug is abstractly made from clay. The base of the mug is not even at all, and you can see where the artist made every dent. The rim is very thin and spreads wider than the actual bottom of the mug. The glaze on the interior is thin and seems to be translucent against the clay body itself. The outside seems to be opaquer as a periwinkle in comparison to the grey like interior. On the outside it has the inference of a heart from the angle of this photo. There seems to be a mix of glaze types and colors on the inside of the black lines. The handle is made from curled wire and a cylindrical beading of sorts.
