Over the boxes of light salmon colored text, are figures of a rock front, a boy/man carrying something looking like a statue above their head next to a bird on a cherry tree branch. The outline of the boy seems to blend into the text upon first looking at the piece, with the line which looks to be rendered in colored pencil rather than part of the print. The object which he holds over his head on a place, looks to be some port of statue. The color palette of the piece is a salmon pink/red, a light vibrant blue, brown, and black. The piece is made on white paper and placed over top a beige background. Overall, the composition of the piece is very well balanced, with the figures laying perfectly in a diagonal moving from right down to the left corner. The inclusion of the paper cuts of porcelain bowls on the right-hand side of the piece which incorporates colors of the piece, makes the piece feel well balanced so the diagonal is not so harsh, and helps guide the viewers eye by anchoring the bottom right-hand corner to balance the left side. The text is not lost behind these more figural elements, the pink salmon color of the text pops against the figures, and the scattering of circles around the piece help for the overall balance of the piece.
