Purdue senior receives Honorable Mention in Steelcase’s 2021 NEXT Student Design Competition

Abby Sayers, Interior Design ‘22, received Honorable Mention in Steelcase’s 2021 NEXT Student Design Competition. This year’s competition saw nearly 1,000 student entries from across the country. 

Centered around NEXT, a fictitious, start-up clean beauty cosmetics company, the competition challenged students to design their “new” 15,000 SF office, based off of real space located in New York City.

The competition was integrated into the AD430 Interior Studio Design V curriculum taught by Assistant Professor of Interior Design Barbara Young.
