The powerful healing capacities of the imagination are honored, as well as the creative aspects of improvisational play and attentive awareness.

Dr. O'Neill is also a licensed professional counselor and has a private practice where she works with individuals and groups, adolescents and adults, from a feminist relational perspective. She is working on a forthcoming book based on the dissertation work cited in this essay.
