- "Learning Through Sisterhood: Understanding the Iran Protsts from an Intersectional Lens," on Tuesday, November 29 from 12:30 - 2:00 PM in Recitation Hall, room 317. Dr. Nazanin Shahrokni will join our in-person audience via Zoom. Dr. Shahrokni's scholarly work is located at the intersection of gender and globalization, feminist geography, and ethnographies of the state in Iran, the Middle East and beyond.
- "The Iranian 'Woman Life Freedom' Movement: Origins, Impacts and Goals" on Wednesday, November 9 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM in University Hall, room 117. This interactive speech will be presented by Dr. Negin Hosseini Goodrich, an Iranian-American activist, former journalist, & lecturer at Purdue University.
