Major Requirements & Plan of Study
To obtain a major in Classical Studies at Purdue University, the student must complete 33 credit hours in one of three major tracks: Classical Languages, Literature and Culture, or Material Culture and History. These three tracks help students steer their way through a rich variety of interdisciplinary offerings.
Minor Requirements & Plan of Study
To fulfill a Classics minor, the student must complete 15 credit hours, selecting one foundational course and four additional courses from a wide variety of interdisciplinary offerings in ancient Latin and Greek languages, culture, history, literature, archaeology, art, philosophy, and related areas.
