Purdue University hosted the Germanic Linguistics Annual Conference, May 2-3, 2014 at the PMU/Stewart Center. Professor John Sundquist coordinated this exciting international event, which brought around 100 scholars from North America and Europe to Purdue. Please see conference website for more details.

A conference of the International Herder Society was held September 8-10, 2014 at Purdue University. Professor Beate Allert is serving a two-year term as President of the society (through January 2015).
