World Food Cultures Certificate
This Certificate offers courses related to the food culture of different countries and world regions. They cover a wide variety of perspectives, from specific topics, such as German Beer Culture, to a country cuisine in French Food Culture, or a whole region, as in Food and Culture in the Hispanic World. Browse our courses and you will see there is one for every taste!
Some of these courses are offered in English and others in the target language; some have hands-on experiences or a study abroad component, and others include field trips to ethnic restaurants.
We all have to eat, but food is more than a nutritional need. It represents the practices, attitudes, and beliefs of the different cultures and communities around the world. It can also convey trust, friendship, care, and passion. As it has been said, “Food is the most delicious expression of love”.
