Senior Associate Inspector General for Pandemic Oversight Coordination and Strategy, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
Jacqueline Becker is the Senior Associate Inspector General for Pandemic Oversight Coordination and Strategy with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. She leads coordination of the Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) pandemic-related oversight work, provides strategic direction, and serves as the primary liaison with internal and external pandemic-related stakeholders, including congressional committees and staff. Jacqueline serves as liaison to the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, the Council of Inspectors General on Financial Oversight, and leads strategic planning, outreach, DEIA, and employee engagement efforts.
Jacqueline previously served as Associate Inspector General for Legal Services and General Counsel leading the OIG’s legal services and congressional and media relations programs. She joined the Board in 2005 and was a key legal adviser throughout the 2007-2008 global financial crisis. Jacqueline is also the former chair of the Council of Counsels to the Inspectors General where she led over 300 IG Counsels government-wide on issues of mutual concern.
After graduating from Purdue in 1990 with a B.A. in Political Science, Jacqueline earned a J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School. She is an alumna of the Harvard Business School’s High Potential Leader Program, a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton Business School and received a certificate in executive leadership coaching from Georgetown University. She is a member of the Illinois Bar.
