Katherine has worked for CNN since August of 2000, producing live television news shows, writing and copy editing scripts for TV and digital platforms, producing video packages, video editing, booking guests, and voice-over work for CNN's multiple platforms.

CNN career highlights include an Emmy Award for her 9/11 coverage, which she shared award with the entire CNN News Group, and a Peabody Award for news coverage of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. Katherine has also covered every presidential election since 2000.

She also has travel writer and inspector experience, which includes reviewing luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas in both the U.S. and London. 

Katherine's first job in the new business was reporting live on local news shows for WFND Television in Toledo, Ohio.

Extensive volunteer history includes work with Junior League of Atlanta, Georgia CASA, and the Atlanta Humane Society.
