International Specialist, Yellowstone National Park Lodges, Yellowstone National Park, WY

Catherine LaBelle is a recruiter for the national park concessionaire, Yellowstone National Park Lodges. She lives and works in Yellowstone, the world’s first national park, and specializes in hiring and working with hundreds of international employees on J-1 visas. Her current role allows her to be traveling 70% of the time, both internationally and domestically. Most recently, she has returned from a trip to D.C. where she and other employers met with state representatives and their staffers to lobby for the J-1 visa program.

Before moving to Yellowstone, Catherine worked in the College of Liberal Arts at Purdue as the Constituent Relations Specialist. If you took this class two years ago, you’ve likely met. Her role at Purdue allowed her to work with alumni, guest speakers, corporate partners, and prospective students, ensuring that their visits to campus were seamless and enjoyable.

When she’s not traveling or working she enjoys watching hockey, collecting brewery stickers, and planning extravagant vacations she can’t afford.
