Jesse Peterson earned his Ph.D. in theology and religion at Durham University in 2020.  His research brings biblical texts and traditions into dialogue with philosophy, both ancient and modern.  His work on the book of Ecclesiastes/Qoheleth has been published in Harvard Theological Review, Vetus Testamentum, and the Journal of Theological Studies.  He has taught at both Fordham University and St. John’s University in New York City. His office is BRNG 1155 and his email is
