Kristie is a third-year MFA acting student originally from Dripping Springs, TX. She received her BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to her time at Purdue, she performed a one woman show encouraging children to explore theatre and character development. She spent her time traveling around the world researching how theatre impacts our lives. She is excited to be portraying Tracey in Sweat as her terminal project. Some of her other favorite productions include several Nell Gwynn, Every Brilliant Thing, The Little Mermaid, and Alice in Alice in Wonderland. She was also an active member of the film community in Austin, appearing in LittlefieldDear Mr. President, and Friday Night Lights.

She was recently a recipient of a Professional Grant from the Graduate School to further her research in theatrical intimacy. She hopes to provide education and resources for actors who struggle with medical conditions impacting their physical intimate boundaries.
