Dr. Lane F. Fargher is a research affiliate of the department of anthropology, and is also research faculty at the Departamento de Ecología Humana, Centro de Investigaciones y de Estudios Avanzadas-Unidad Mérida, Mérida, Yucatan, México. Lane is a Mesoamerican archaeologist and expert on ceramic petrography. He is now working on an Archaeological project in Tlaxcala, Mexico as co-director with Richard Blanton and Verenice Heredia Espinoza (a recent PhD in anthropology from Purdue).
