Mary Beth Van Dyke

Mary Beth Van Dyke is a continuing lecturer. She teaches Dance Appreciation, modern, and jazz dance. In addition to teaching, Mary Beth choreographs modern dance works for the Purdue Repertory Dance Company each semester.
Mary Beth Van Dyke received a Master's in Dance and Related Arts from Texas Woman's University. During the past twenty years, she has taught, performed and choreographed at TWU, Purdue University, Lafayette Ballet and many regional American College Dance Festivals. As a freelance instructor, Mary Beth has been on the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis staff, taught improvisation and court dance in Purdue's theatre division, and taught creative dance, jazz, folk and tap dance at the Arthur Jordan YMCA in Indianapolis. In the past, Mary Beth led the presentation "Teaching Creative Dance Through Curriculum" and presented choreography in the Dance Showcase Indiana AAHPERD conventions.
