Biography

Siroun Hintiryan is a Ph.D. candidate in English at Purdue University, where her research explores the intersections of feminist theory, digital media, and pedagogy. Her current work focuses on Feminist Gaming Pedagogy—a framework that interrogates power, identity, and resistance through game-based learning and interactive narratives.

With a background in critical media studies and educational equity, Siroun brings an interdisciplinary lens to questions of access, embodiment, and the politics of play. She is especially interested in how games can serve as both tools of oppression and instruments of liberation within learning environments.

Beyond her academic work, Siroun is a dedicated educator and mentor, committed to creating spaces that challenge dominant narratives and amplify marginalized voices.
