Tera Bivins

Tera Bivins is the Senior Human Resources Business Partner for the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Education at Purdue University.  She received her BS degree in Business Administration and Communication from Eureka College and her MBA from Olivet Nazarene University. 

Tera came to Purdue with an extensive Healthcare Human Resources background.  She began her career in the corporate office of Sunrise Senior Living serving in various HR roles including Benefits, Employee Relations and as the Corporate Office HR Manager. She also served as an HR Coordinator for a corporate owned continuing care retirement community, Ashby Ponds, and as the HR Director for an independent long term care facility, Prairieview Lutheran Homes.  Prior to joining Purdue University, she served as the Vice President of Organizational Health at an independent rural hospital where she was responsible for all aspects of HR and operations of various ancillary departments.
