Tina Dexter and Yu-Ra Jung
Two staff members, Tina Dexter and Yu-Ra Jung, have been selected as recipients of the 2016 Earl B. Notestine Awards. These awards are presented to staff members who demonstrate outstanding service to a department or student services area.
Tina Dexter, a secretary in Liberal Arts Counseling and Student Services, received the clerical and support staff award. She was recognized for her outstanding contributions during a recent logistical crisis caused by a water leak. During this challenging situation, and others like it, she demonstrated presence of mind and commitment to the staff and students of the College.
Yu-Ra Jung, an advisor for the Brian Lamb School of Communication, received the administrative professional award for her outstanding expertise and willingness to assist students. Yu-Ra’s colleagues note her positive attitude, readiness to learn, and willingness to spend as much time as is needed to help any student. She is especially praised for her friendly attitude toward all and her dedication to the advising profession.
Congratulations to Tina and Yu-Ra, and thank you for all you do for the College and its students, staff, and faculty!
