Study Abroad and International Programs
For Spring 2020, 39 CLA students applied to a semester study abroad program and the total for this year is expected to be 59 CLA students in total. With this increase the College of Liberal Arts will have the second highest semester study abroad participation at Purdue for the 2019-20 Academic Year, second only to the College of Engineering.
Since 2016, the number of semester study abroad students has nearly tripled in the College of Liberal Arts. Through collaborations with CLA's academic Schools and Departments as well as with the Academic Advising team, information about CLA's study abroad opportunities have become more readily accessible throughout the College. This increase in student participation is a reflection of a collaborative effort within CLA.
Congratulations to Joel Ebarb, William Sartore, Brooke Armstrong and all those who have collaborated in this effort.
