Angelica Duran
Please join me in congratulating Angelica Duran, professor of English, comparative literature, and religious studies, for publishing a new book on John Milton and being elected president of the Milton Society of America.
Angelica’s sixth book, Milton among Spaniards (University of Delaware Press/Virginia Press, 2020), published in April. David Gies of the University of Virginia described it as “a major achievement, a wholly original contribution to our knowledge of Milton and an excellent meditation on his lasting impact in Spain.”
The Milton Society of America is an affiliate organization of the Modern Language Association and the Renaissance Society of America. Angelica was voted in as president in April.
