Allen McCullough
Please join me in congratulating Allen McCullough, continuing lecturer in the Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance, on having two compositions selected for classical recordings.
Record label RMN Classical selected Allen’s “Prelude No. 5,” performed by David Henry, as one of eight winners in its 2020 “Call for Piano Works” project. The winning selections will be included in RMN’s 2021 release, “Modern Music for Piano 3,” which will be available on all major digital platforms.
In addition, Allen’s original work for solo piano, “The Ugly Duckling,” – performed by Elizabeth Pridgen from his 2010 piano suite “Legends and Tales” – is included on Navona Records’ “Drift,” the 34th installment in a series by the Society of Composers, Inc. The album is available with a limited production of physical CDs and on major digital platforms.
Congratulations, Dr. McCullough!
