Please join me in congratulating Brian Kelly, professor of sociology, for being recently awarded a $1M grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse for his research on “Effects of Tobacco & ENDS Policies on Patterns of Adolescent ENDS Use.”

The grant will fund Brian’s research from 2021-2024. Brian’s research currently focuses on the social contextual influences of prescription drug misuse among U.S. youth and the influence of policy contexts on youth substance use trajectories. Brian currently serves as Senior Editor at Addiction, a journal published by the Society for the Study of Addiction.
