Cornelius Bynum
Please join me in congratulating Cornelius Bynum, associate professor of history and director of African-American studies, for the recent publication of his co-edited collection The Black Intellectual Tradition: African American Thought in the Twentieth Century, published by University of Illinois Press.
This volume presents essays on the diverse thought behind the fight for racial justice as developed by African American artists and intellectuals, performers and protest activists, institutions and organizations, and educators and religious leaders. Cornelius is also credited as a contributor, along with professor of philosophy, Leonard Harris.
Congratulations, Professor Bynum!
