Opinion: Why the Department of Government Efficiency could be costly for the country

Andrew Flachs, associate professor of anthropology, challenges the newly proposed Department of Government Efficiency as far from ideal in this opinion piece for The Hill. He re-introduces the "Jevons Paradox", a theory which states: "The more efficiently we do something, the more of it we tend to do."
