PLaCE English Boost

Purdue students and scholars can join English Boost Language Cafés to practice pronunciation, build vocabulary, and improve fluency in a relaxed, social setting. Conversation Clubs offer a fun way to explore American culture, connect with peers, and build confidence through themed discussions and campus outings. Participants must register in advance  for events through WCOnline.

Purdue OWL English Conversation Groups

Purdue students and scholars whose native language isn't English can enhance their speaking skills and vocabulary by joining the On-Campus Writing Lab's conversation groups. These sessions also offer a chance to connect with others at Purdue, exchange ideas, and gain insight into different cultures. Students need to sign up in advance to participate.

The International Center's Conversation Groups offer a welcoming space to connect with others and practice speaking the target language. These sessions are completely free and open to all—no sign-up needed.
