Office of Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology promotes and supports the use of information technology in research, instruction, and administration. The office provides full technology support to all faculty and staff in Liberal Arts, as well as instructional and research support for graduate and undergraduate students. Professional staff provide: general technical support; instructional and research technology planning and assistance; coordination of departmental computing labs; purchasing, installation and maintenance of technology equipment; building of networked systems, infrastructures, and applications; assistance in building of websites to communicate information about the departments and college; security of information and equipment; and development of new technologies to improve the effectiveness of our college and its faculty and staff. The College of Liberal Arts Information Technology (CLA IT) network includes interconnected systems that link all college departments and offices, as well as other systems both on and off campus.
For computing support, faculty and staff in the college may contact the Liberal Arts IT service desk. The IT staff members will be available to take your phone calls and respond to your e-mail inquiries between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Using one e-mail address (firstname.lastname@example.org) or one telephone number (496-6333), you may contact the IT staff members with your question or stop by BRNG 3268 for face-to-face assistance.
