Truman Scholarship Info Session and 2025-26 Call-Out

The Truman Foundation awards the premier graduate fellowship for U.S. Citizens pursuing careers as public service leaders. While this scholarship comes with $30,000 in graduate school funding, it offers much more over the course of Truman Scholars' careers. Juniors apply – defined as the penultimate year for those graduating in four years or more or the final year for those graduating in three years or fewer. The selection criteria is focused on leadership, public and community service record, and is open to any major likely to lead to a public service career. The session will cover these criteria in more detail, including a discussion about how one might pursue such experiences, as well as information relevant to those ready to apply now for the 2025-26 scholarships.

Udall Scholarship Info Session and 2025-26 Call-Out

The Udall Scholarship supports undergraduates seeking to jump-start a career in the environment or Native American healthcare/policy. The scholarship honors the legacies of Morris Udall and Stewart Udall, whose careers had a significant impact on the stewardship of public lands and natural resources and Native American self-governance and health care. Application open to current Sophomores and Juniors, with the application process to begin soon, thus the session will cover general information about the scholarship, how to work toward becoming a strong candidate, and getting started info for those ready to apply. 2024 College of Agriculture Fall Career Fair

The College of Agriculture hosts career fairs in the fall and spring semesters. More than 250 organizations attend annually. Several sectors of the agricultural industry are represented, including natural resources, technology, food and animal sciences, plant and crop sciences, and farm management to list a few.
College of Agriculture students and alumni have the opportunity to interact with employers, submit resumes, and interview for permanent or internship positions. Freshmen and sophomore students are encouraged to join upper-level students at the career fairs to learn about careers and develop the art of professional conversations early. Students that have related majors in other colleges at Purdue, and those from partner institutions are also invited to attend.
