Warren P. Thayer, Jr. Scholarships

Warren Thayer, Jr. founded Perry Chemical and Manufacturing in 1959 with his brother, D. Robert Thayer, and father. He retired in 1995 as president of the privately held company. Mr. Thayer began funding the Thayer Scholars in the College of Liberal Arts in 1997. The Thayer Scholars gives students the opportunity to explore current issues and become well-rounded students. He included a bequest for the Thayer Scholars program in his estate.

Criteria for Eligibility:

The Warren P. Thayer, Jr. Scholarships are for CLA students who will be in their sophomore year.

To Apply:

If you are currently in your first year at Purdue, have a 3.0 GPA, and will be a full-time student in the College of Liberal Arts during the following academic school year, you are eligible to apply. Contact clascholarships@purdue.edu for application details.
