Lockers is a stop-motion sketch that is based on a seven by four lockers grid system (28 lockers) from which I developed my concept, creating visual images and typographic elements on a very limited pixel system. This super low-resolution system created a rare opportunity for me to experience how far as a visual designer I could go on a very limited grid structure. Using a mundane object like the lockers also addressed the idea of using daily life objects as potential visual communication tools rather than only using their aimed functions.
Experimentation in the process of creating the lockers movie led me to the development of the font "Lockers" that is based on the same 7x4 pixel grid. The font can be downloaded here: lockers.zip (Macintosh compatible)
