Cabeza con Espinas (Head with Thorns)
Print
This color linocut uses multiple colors and thick layers of ink to give a dimensional mix of clashing greens, purples, blacks and blues to create an abstract face. The background is carved varying line weights and pressure as if the purple is cracking. The colors of ink om top of each other either uses a reduction print or a multi-block print to give the texture of the heavy ink.
