Graduate Students
Purdue Philosophy is a large and active intellectual community. We are a faculty of 28 (and growing!), surrounded by postdoctoral researchers, affiliate faculty, Ph.D.-seeking graduate students. We offer dozens of courses to over 100 majors across the BA degrees we offer in both Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence, which include options for specific certifications in Human Rights and (in the works) Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and Cognitive Science.
Graduate students are vital members of our research community. Our graduate students contribute to faculty-led research initiatives, and through this receive close guidance for building their own research programs. We are actively recruiting PhD students with research interests that complement and contribute to the intellectual vitality of our community.
There is always something going on. In addition to our course offerings, we have a steady set of events that include reading groups, talk series, social events, colloquia, and conferences/workshops.
