Information for Presenters
Oral presentations
- Talks are scheduled in 25 minutes slots, with a maximum of 20 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions.
- It is expected that presenters will use their own laptops to project slides (please bring special adapters if needed). A local computer can be made available as well – please contact the organizers in advance.
- If you are using a handout, please bring about 60, although the precise number needed may vary depending on the day and time of your session.
Poster presentations
- Posters should be no larger than 3' x 4'. We highly recommend you follow this landscape orientation when printing your poster because otherwise it would be difficult to attach to the boards.
- The poster session will be divided into two parts: odd-numbered posters will be presented in the first half and even-numbered posters will be presented in the second half. Easels and boards will be provided and marked with poster numbers. At the start of the session consecutive odd and even-numbered posters should be mounted on two opposite sides of the same board as marked (e.g., poster #1 and #2 go on the same board) and the board should be flipped at half time.
