Biography
Eylül is a doctoral student in the Lamb School of Communication studying health communication and media effects. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication from the University of Utah, and her Master of Arts degree in Health Communication from Washington State University.
Research and Teaching
Eylül’s research revolves around health communication and media effects. More specifically, drawing from both qualitative and quantitative methods, she studies how different types of media impact people’s views, attitudes, and behaviors in health and risk contexts. Eylül’s teaching experience includes Introduction to Communication Theory, Introduction to Presentational Speaking, Science Writing and Presentation, Advance Presentational Speaking/Speech Communication of Technical Information. She also worked as a consultant at the Purdue Presentation Center.
