Frankie Knuckles earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, Philosophy, and Queer Studies from Vassar College in 2021. Their philosophical interests include the philosophy of disability, philosophy of gender and sexuality, phenomenology, existentialism, and critical theory. They’re especially interested in how subcultures and communities form and keep themselves going—for better and for worse. Some of their current work focuses on local journalism; some of it focuses on implications of a historical, social, and political association between queerness and villainy. Their less philosophical interests include practicing the fiber arts, gluten free baked goods, voracious media consumption, and niche pop cultural deep-dives.
