Jeff Brubaker

Jeff Brubaker received his Ph.D. in history from the Classics, Ancient History, and Archaeology program at the University of Birmingham (UK) in 2016. His research examines the relationship between Byzantines and Latins in the years after the Fourth Crusade. His book, The Disputatio of the Latins and the Greeks, 1234 examines the most important episode of dialogue between the Roman and Greek Churches of the thirteenth century. He has taught courses on a wide range of subjects, including ancient and medieval travelers in the Mediterranean world, cross-cultural interactions during the Crusades, and the Hebrew Bible.
