Margaret was born and raised in Lafayette, but earned her M.A. in International Literatures from the University of Tübingen and a dual PhD in Cultural Studies from both the University of Bergamo in Italy and Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, India. Her passion for teaching started in Germany, where she taught English and American Studies. Since returning to Lafayette, she has worked at Ivy Tech Community College, the International Center, and in Purdue’s ICaP program. Outside work, Margaret enjoys crossword puzzles, Indian food, and learning new languages. She is also very active in community organizations, and aims to make Greater Lafayette a more welcoming place for all.
