I originally earned my Bachelors in Psychology at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota before heading to the University of Texas at San Antonio where I earned my Masters of Science in Sociology. I hope to earn my Doctorate in Sociology here at Purdue and am currently studying with Dan Olson. My research interests include non-religious, organized secularism, and identity. Before coming to Purdue I taught as an Adjunct Professor at UTSA and my courses included Introduction to Sociology, Sociological Theory, Social Problems, and Data Management for Public Health.
