Raleigh Heth received his Ph.D. in Theology (Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity) from the University of Notre Dame in 2023. He was most recently a postdoctoral researcher at Notre Dame, where he taught a mixture of language and literature courses dealing with texts from the ancient Near East. His area of expertise is ancient mythic literature, particularly that coming from Mesopotamia and the eastern Mediterranean, and he maintains active interests in ancient historiography and Biblical literature. His work has been published in several outlets, including Biblica, Vetus Testamentum, and Nouvelles Assyriologiques Brèves et Utilitaires (NABU).
