Rhodes Pinto received his Ph.D. in Classics (Ancient Philosophy) from the University of Cambridge in 2016. He was most recently an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow for Scholars in the Humanities at Stanford University. His areas of expertise are ancient Greek and Roman philosophy and science, especially the Presocratics, and he also maintains active interests in the later history of Western philosophy, Eastern philosophy, and Greek and Latin literature. He has taught a variety of courses on ancient philosophy, as well as introductory philosophy, and his work has been published in Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy, Phronesis, Apeiron, and Ancient Philosophy.
