Haley Sawyer

Biography

Haley Sawyer is a first year Master’s student in the Health and Risk Communication Program at the Lamb School of Communication. In the past she has supported research analyzing the Social Determinants of Health Program at Northwestern Medicine; she also spearheaded a research project investigating young adults’ attitudes towards the COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies.

Research and Teaching

Haley’s research interests include Health Campaigns and Initiatives, Health Behaviors, and the Social Determinants of Health. She is teaching COM 114 (Presentational Communication) and working in the Purdue Presentation Center.
