Shriya Dasgupta has a master’s degree in politics and international relations from Pondicherry University, India, and a bachelor’s in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University, India. She is the founder of Agnijug Archive, a digital repository that aims to document oral histories of anticolonial Indian revolutionaries and the spirit of resistance that they espoused. Her research explores 20th century South Asian history with a focus on colonial Bengali women, displacement, forced migration, and the role of autobiographies as a means to construct parallel history. Shriya is working with Dr. Tithi Bhattacharya.
