Our lab members had a great time at the 2025 Human Sentence Processing (HSP) Conference held at the University of Maryland, College Park from March 27-29, 2025. Members of our lab shared their research through poster presentations, contributing to vibrant discussions and networking opportunities.
The presenters were:
- Dr. Shaohua Fang (Ross-Lynn Postdoc researcher) – “L2 Interpretation of quantifier scope: influence of individual difference factors”
- Vanessa Sheu & Elaine Francis – “Plausibility and garden-paths: online aural cue use in L1, L2, and heritage speakers of Mandarin”
- Yue Li & Elaine Francis – “Animacy effects on production and comprehension of English object relative clauses”
We are proud of our lab members for their hard work and engaging presentations. Stay tuned for more exciting research updates from our Lab!
