Purdue Linguistics Symposium 2025: Exling Highlights

We are excited to share that several of our lab members did a wonderful job presenting their research at the Purdue Linguistics Symposium (PLS) 2025, with their works spreading across language processing, second language acquisition, and psycholinguistics.

  • Dr. Shaohua Fang: “Processing and Interpretation of Double Quantifiers: Evidence from Human and Large Language Models”
  • Jingying Hu: “Integration and Prediction in Online Processing of Temporal Information: A Study of L1 and L2 Chinese”
  • Vanessa Sheu: “Structural Choices in the Production of Mandarin Relative Clauses: The Effect of Head Animacy and Semantic Similarity”

Congratulations to all presenters for their excellent work and contributions to the vibrant discussions at PLS 2025! We are proud of the innovative research coming from our lab and look forward to seeing these projects develop further!
