Sixty Square Inches - 18th North American Small Print Exhibition
January 11 through February 20, 2016
Robert L. Ringel Gallery, Stewart Center
The Purdue University Galleries are pleased to present the eighteenth Sixty Square Inches Small Print Competition, continuing a tradition begun in 1977. The exhibit presents a current review of North American printmakers working within a format of 60 square inches in image area, as delineated in the title of the show. These small works present the viewer with an intimate experience and invite close attention to the visual message.
We are indebted to this year’s juror, Kim Vito of Wright State University, for her careful scrutiny of entries from throughout the US and Canada. She has selected 52 works representing 34 artists for the exhibition.
