Ann Marie Clark
Please join me in congratulating Ann Marie Clark, associate professor of political science, who was invited to speak earlier this month about her research on Amnesty International’s global human rights appeals at the Science and Human Rights Coalition meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Ann is working with Purdue Libraries and a team of graduate students to digitize and code Amnesty International’s action bulletins—communiqués about specific and immediate human rights risks—sent out between 1975 and 2007. She hopes preserving and studying these documents will help scholars and activists learn more about the politics of human rights and global justice.
Congratulations, Dr. Clark!
