Yujia Song
Please join me in congratulating Yujia Song, Visiting Assistant Professor in the Deparment of Philosophy for being selected as a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Scholar.
Yujia will participate in the summer institute entitled "Moral Psychology and Education: Putting the Humanities to Work." The four-week program will be held at Grand Valley State University. The Endowment is a federal agency that, each summer, supports these enrichment opportunities at colleges, universities, and cultural institutions, so that faculty can work in collaboration and study with experts in humanities disciplines.
Yujia specializes in moral philosphy and has most recently published her work entitled "How to Be a Proponent of Empathy" in Ethical Theory and Moral Practice in 2015.
Congratulations, Dr. Song!
