Bradley Dilger

Please join me in congratulating Bradley Dilger, associate professor of English, for his proposal, “Crow: the Corpus & Repository of Writing,” which was selected for the “The Work of the Humanities in a Changing Climate” research challenge supported by the Humanities Without Walls Consortium.

“The Work of the Humanities in a Changing Climate” research challenge has awarded Bradley $141,708 to use over the next three years for his project. Crow brings together researchers at Purdue, Michigan State, and the University of Arizona to create a web-based archive for research and professional development in applied linguistics and rhetoric and composition. The project will support mixed-methods writing research by creating a searchable archive of student writing and related pedagogical materials. The Humanities Without Walls consortium is funded by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Bradley, along with Jeff Rice, has also edited the collection From A to <A>: Keywords of Markup which won the 2010 Computers & Composition Book Award. Bradley’s work has appeared in College Composition and Communication, Computers & Composition,Kairos, and several edited collections.

Congratulations, Dr. Dilger!
