Daniel Kelly and Stacey Connaughton
Please join me in congratulating Daniel Kelly, associate professor of philosophy, and Stacey Connaughton, associate professor in the Brian Lamb School of Communication, for winning the 2018 Trailblazer Award from the Office of the Provost.
The annual award recognizes mid-career faculty in the College of Liberal Arts, College of Education, College of Health and Human Sciences, and Purdue University Libraries for recent research, scholarship, or creative work that has made a significant impact in their discipline.
The review committee celebrated Dan’s research in the areas of implicit bias, social norms, and disgust – work that also recently netted him a fellowship with Stanford University’s Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences.
The committee complimented Stacey for the direction and impact of her research and for her leadership as Director of the Purdue Peace Project.
They will be recognized with plaques and monetary prizes of $2,000 at the Faculty Awards Convocation on May 8.
Congratulations, Dr. Kelly and Dr. Connaughton!
