Kenneth Ferraro
Please join me in congratulating Kenneth Ferraro, distinguished professor of sociology and director of the Center on Aging and the Life Course, for winning the 2018 Richard Kalish Innovative Publication Award for his book, The Gerontological Imagination: An Integrative Paradigm of Aging (Oxford University Press, 2018).
The Gerontological Society of America presents the award to original publications in the behavioral and social sciences that represent “state-of-the-art thinking in aging and life course development.” The award is open to empirical, conceptual, creative, and multimedia publications that have been published within the last three years. The Behavioral and Social Sciences section is the biggest within the GSA, with membership numbering in the thousands.
Ken will be honored at the GSA’s Annual Scientific Meeting in Boston in November.
Congratulations, Professor Ferraro!
